Field Setup
Base path's are 60' as shown in diagram, except for T-Ball which is 50'.
Bases, Pitcher's plate (with stakes, hammer and tape measure), Stripers, Chalk, Rakes and Umpire equipment are located in the shed or field boxes.
Pitching Distances:
Instructional Pitcher's Plate is 30' from back of home plate.
Minors Pitcher's Plate is 35' from back of home plate.
Majors Pitcher's Plate is 40' from back of home plate.
To stripe the field:
Stripe right and left foul lines from the front outside corners of the batters box to the outside edge of first and third base. Continue stripe to the outfield grass.
Stripe Batters Box, On Deck Circles, Pitchers Mound, and Coaches Box as shown below. There are tools in the shed to help stripe Batter's Box and Pitcher's Mound.
